Bugler Foundation and NASSA helping young people thrive through sport in Newham

In July, Andy Bugler, Bugler Group CEO, and Scott Willson, Bugler Developments Contracts Manager, met Natasha Hart, founder of NASSA to provide a donation of £20,000 to the academy.

The Newham All Star Sports Academy was set up for the young people in the London Borough of Newham and the surrounding areas. They provide extra-curricular school training clubs, a Saturday Academy, a High Flyers Developmental Programme, a volunteer programme, opportunities to gain coaching qualifications and NVQs, a summer scheme, holiday clubs and outreach work in local parks.

Andy and Scott were pictured along with Natasha and the London 2012 Olympic Torch which Natasha carried during the Olympic relay, having played such an integral part in community work across Newham.

Andy Bugler said, “Bugler Developments are involved in several projects building new, affordable housing across the London Borough of Newham, and so we are pleased to be able to support a thriving, Newham-based sports academy with their vital community work. It was fantastic to meet Natasha and hear first-hand about NASSA. We hope our donation will inspire more young people to get involved in sport for good.”
